Garden Plaque

Created in old Greece, decorative garden plaques were created from rich stones like marble to help decorate the area. Originally captivated in greek gardens, these vibrant shapes and designs have been used for thousands of years to help add life outside of plants.

Marble was a popular stone that was used to help decorate and manipulate the architecture and landscapes of gardens and homes. Using intimate drawings of Gods and natures, often sketched into the marble itself. Most of the statues that we have today have lost the vibrant design and coloring. This is often described as the cottage style decor, as you can use outdoor garden decor inside your home.

New plaques, and even some old have even been used for stepping stones. Imagine using unique, colored, stones for steps to your garden pond or up from the local lake. Don't get stuck with the idea that you only can use your stones as garden centerpieces, you can now use those older run down plaques as stepping stones. At this point you aren't tied to designing your garden with lawn darts and pink flamingos.

Garden plaques help tie together the overall theme and look that you want in your garden. These small additions can greatly hanger the way your garden appears, adding a new element in which you can begin to help your style and look. You want to be sure that you buy higher quality garden plaques, don't buy cheap knock offs that were produced cheaply as you'll only be cheating yourself.
